State requires all horses to have a coggins when they enter the gate at the horse shows or trail rides or any other events. We would like to ask everyone to please bring us a coggins on all your horse’s so we can put them on file for the 2013 Horse Show Season.
The 39th Annual Spring Trail Ride is coming up on May 10-11-12. The first ride will be on Saturday May 11th beginning at 10am. NEGATIVE COGGINGS REQUIRED before entering the grounds. The Dickenson County 4-H Saddle Club will sell breakfast at the Concession Stand on Sat. morning. Your choice of Sausage Gravy, and Biscuits or a Sausage Biscuit. They will also have a lunch available at the Birch Knob Tower Parking Lot at 12 noon. They will sell lunch for donations to support thier club. Saturday night May 11 there will be a bonfire and games after supper. Camping will be available this week free of charge. All campers are responsible for cleaning up their campsite before they leave. NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES OR UNPRESCRIBED DRUGS ALLOWED and NO HOT RODDINGon the grounds.

We will be having a Benefit Trail Ride on Sat. May 11 for members in need. There will be a Soup Bean Dinner at ring following the ride. Cost of the Soup Bean Dinner is $5.00 each. Following Dinner we will be doing some raffles.
Donations will be accepted for the ride. Come on out and support our Benefit since it is for the members in need.
We will have a work day week at the riding ring starting on Monday May 6th through Thursday May 10th. We would like to ask all members that can to please come down and help us get the ring ready for 2013 events and horse shows. We know a lot of you work different shifts and have a lot going on so that is why we scheduled the work week from Monday through Thursday. That way you can come down whenever it is convenient for you and help out.
If anyone wants to help you can call Ronnie Adkins at 276-835-8639 or see him at the riding ring on the weekends and ask him what needs to be done for work week and he will be glad to tell you a list of things you can work on.
We hope by now that everyone has renewed their membership for this year and got their key to the riding ring. If not then you need to do so as soon as possible.

RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR 2013
Everyone has to sign up, or renew their membership for 2013 in order to still be a member of the CPM Trail Riders Club.
You must be 18 years old or older and have membership dues paid
in order to Vote, Our physical year will run from Feb. 2013 thru Feb. 2014. Membership dues
this year will be as follows,Single Membership-$ 20.00,Family Membership $30.00 (living in the same household).If you want a key to the riding ring it will be a onetime fee of $10.00
Your old key will not work at the ring after March 30th, 2013. So if you want your key to work then you must renew your membership with the Club.
You must pay your membership dues each year to get your key reprogrammed, Since the key code will change each year
